Ginsenoside is an important active ingredient of ginseng and belongs to triterpenoid glycoside compounds, which can be classified into protopanaxadiol group saponins (PPD-type saponins), protopanaxatriol group saponins (PPT-type saponins), and oleanocarpane, and more than 40 types of ginsenosides have been isolated from the roots of ginseng.
More than 40 ginsenosides have been isolated from ginseng root. Ginsenosides have a variety of therapeutic effects such as antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, vasodilatory, antiallergic, and antidiabetic. Some ginsenosides have been shown to have anticancer properties by reducing DNA damage, decreasing host susceptibility to mutations, increasing immune monitoring and apoptosis. In addition, ginsenosides can effectively improve the efficacy of conventional chemotherapeutic agents and prevent damage to normal tissues
Xi'an Huawave Biotech Co., Ltd. is a professional Ginsenoside manufacturer and Ginsenoside supplier . We are committed to providing customers with professional research and development, production and sales, as well as OEM and ODM processing services.

Saponin ComponentEffects
Ginsenoside Rh2Inhibits the metastasis of cancer cells to other organs, enhances immune system function, and promotes rapid recovery of physical condition. It has a significant anti-metastatic effect on cancer cells and can be used in conjunction with surgery to enhance wound healing and physical recovery after surgery. The absolute bioavailability is (16.1±11.3)%.
Ginsenoside Rg Has effects on exciting the central nervous system, anti-fatigue, improving memory and learning ability, and promoting DNA and RNA synthesis. Note that Rg includes multiple subtypes with specific effects.
Ginsenoside Rg1Quickly relieves fatigue, improves learning and memory, delays aging, excites the central nervous system, and inhibits platelet aggregation.
Ginsenoside Rg2Has an anti-shock effect, rapidly improves myocardial ischemia and hypoxia, and treats and prevents coronary heart disease.
Ginsenoside Rg3Acts on the G2 phase of the cell reproductive cycle, inhibiting the synthesis of proteins and ATP in the pre-mitotic phase of cancer cells, thereby slowing down the proliferation and growth of cancer cells. It also has effects on inhibiting cancer cell infiltration, anti-tumor cell metastasis, promoting tumor cell apoptosis, and inhibiting tumor cell growth.
Ginsenoside Rg5Inhibits cancer cell infiltration, anti-tumor cell metastasis, promotes tumor cell apoptosis, and inhibits tumor cell growth.
Ginsenoside Rb1Found most abundantly in American ginseng (Panax quinquefolius), it has potential effects on animal testes and embryonic development in mice. It enhances the choline system, increases the synthesis and release of acetylcholine, and improves memory.
Ginsenoside Rb2Promotes the synthesis of DNA and RNA, regulates the brain center by inhibiting the central nervous system, reduces intracellular calcium, has antioxidant properties, clears free radicals in the body, and improves myocardial ischemia-reperfusion injury.
Ginsenoside RcA sterol molecule found in ginseng with cancer cell inhibitory properties. It also increases the motility of spermatozoa.
Ginsenoside Rb3Enhances myocardial function and protects the body's immune system. It can be used to treat myocardial contractile failure caused by various reasons.
Ginsenoside RhHas effects on inhibiting the central nervous system, inducing sleep, analgesia, calming, antipyretic, and promoting serum protein synthesis.
Ginsenoside Rh1Promotes hepatocyte proliferation and DNA synthesis, and can be used for the treatment and prevention of hepatitis and liver cirrhosis.
Ginsenoside RoHas anti-inflammatory, detoxifying, and antithrombotic effects, inhibits acid-related platelet aggregation, has anti-hepatitis effects, and activates macrophages.
Ginsenoside Rh3Studied for its effects on the proliferation and apoptosis of human colon cancer cells SW480.

1. Pharmaceutical Industry

  • Cardiovascular and Cerebrovascular Diseases:

    • Ginsenoside Rg2 has been proven to be effective in treating shock, heart failure, myocardial ischemia, and cerebral ischemia, outperforming certain currently available medications.
    • Ginsenoside Re has also been shown to improve myocardial ischemia-reperfusion injury.
  • Anticancer Effects:

    • Components such as ginsenoside Rg3 have shown potential in cancer treatment by regulating cellular signaling pathways and inhibiting tumor cell proliferation.
  • Other Medical Applications:

    • Ginsenosides are also used to regulate the immune system and improve liver function.

2. Cosmetics and Skincare

  • Anti-Aging:

    • Ginsenosides can inhibit the expression of inflammatory factors and have a targeted inhibitory effect on the NF-κB signaling pathway, thereby improving inflammatory aging issues.
    • They also promote collagen production, contributing to improved skin elasticity, density, and fullness.
  • Hair Loss Prevention:

    • Hair care products containing specific ginsenosides can strengthen hair roots and reduce hair loss.

3. Food and Health Products
